Amol Modi Obituary
POUGHKEEPSIE - Amol Jayesh Modi, 31, of Poughkeepsie died Tuesday, August 21st. Amol was born to Jayesh and Kalpana Modi on May 16th, 1981 in Buffalo, New York. He graduated from Spackenkill High School in 1999 and was a lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie. Amol is survived by his parents Jayesh and Kalpana Modi, his two brothers Anand and Veeshal Modi, and his grandmother Damini Desai. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Amnesty International USA. An informal memorial services will be held at 11am on Sunday August 26th at the Hindu Samaj Temple, 3 Brown Road, Wappingers Falls, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of Wm. G. Amol was truly a great and humble friend. I'll always remember the fun times we had going to Yankee games and eating burgers in NYC whenever I was home from Chicago.
