Anthony Galloway Obituary
Poughkeepsie - Galloway, Anthony Brian of Poughkeepsie formerly of Beacon, entered into rest Thursday, October 24, 2013 at his home. He was 50.
Born August 1, 1963, in Beacon, NY, he was the son of the late Cabey Galloway Jr. and Ernestine Blount Galloway Alston.
Anthony, worked a host of jobs, and most recently was a truck driver, as well as a driver in the Medical Transportation Business.
Survivors include his mother of Madison, VA., two brothers Cabey Galloway III of Beacon, and Kaleb Benjamin "Benji" Galloway, of Richmond, VA., two sisters Angela Bridgeforth and Julia L. Galloway, Both of Richmond, VA., his maternal grandmother, Mildred Blount of Portsmouth, VA., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
In addition to his father he was predeceased by his son, Symeek Reed.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at The Upper Room Pentecostal Ministry, 333 Verplanck Ave. Beacon, NY from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with funeral services following.
Pastor Kerry B. Oliver VII will officiate.
Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill.

I send my condolences to the Galloway, my heart go out to you. I know its kind of late to send a message but I have just found out. Brian and I grew up together we were neighbors when we was younger, its just hard to believe that he's gone.

To the Galloway, Jones and Fleming families!! (Yes! I know them all!) Having grown up in Beacon, NY with them. I was shocked and saddened to read about Brian's death and my prayers go out to the families. I know how the pain of losing a loved one is, my brother Leon Williams of Brooklyn NY passed away last year on April 21, 2012. Anthony always had a way of given the best advice. I didn't know him very long, but long enough to know he would be a friend for as long as God permitted. My prayers go out to his friends and family may you find Gods peace as you mourn your loss.

My condolences to the Galloway and Blount Family. May God ease your pain for He has lifted Brian's. I am grateful that God allowed Brian and I to reconnect after 19 years of separation and 20 years of our son's passing. Through God's Grace we were able to make an amends and I had a wonderful and joyful year with Brian.

I have known Brian my whole life.. He was a person who you liked as soon as you met him... Growing up together made us family... And anyone that grew up in Glenham N.Y can tell you how strong our bonds are towards each other... To his family I want to tell you that Brian will be missed...
