Poughkeepsie - Anthony T. Pisciotta passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY, surrounded by his daughters, granddaughter and loving family. He was 74 years old. Son of the late Thomas and Angelina Pisciotta (nee Palmieri), he was born November 25, 1942 in New York, NY. Anthony was a retired Limousine Driver for M.T.C. Limousine Service in Bedford Hills, NY.
Anthony is survived by, his daughters: Dawn Pisciotta Nuccetelli of Wappingers Falls, NY, Kristian Pisciotta of Poughkeepsie, NY; his granddaughter: Ciara; his brothers: Angelo Pisciotta of Monroe, NY and Thomas Pisciotta of Huntington Station, NY; his sisters: Mildred Pisciotta of New York, NY and Louise Milano of Monroe, NY.
Anthony was larger than life. He always made everyone laugh and was an extraordinary story teller. His personality was out of this world. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He is and always will be, "One Of A Kind."
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29th at Smith Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY 10950. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30th at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, NY. Interment will follow in Seamanville Cemetery, Monroe, NY.

MY POP LIVED LIFE TO THE FULLEST, LOVING TO COOK AND EAT FOOD THAT WE COOKED TOGETHER. THE THING I WILL REMEMBER MOST WAS WALKING IN THE HOUSE AND A VOICE SAYING JIM IS THAT YOU, DON'T MEAN TO BOTHER YOU BUT WHAT'S COOKIN' TONIGHT AND THAT DIDN'T MEAN WHAT WAS GOING ON HE HONESTLY WANTED TO KNOW WHAT WAS FOR DINNER.
MISSING THE LONG CONVERSATIONS ABOUT HISTORY AND SOME ODDLY KNOWN FACTS HE WAS LOOKING UP ON THE COMPUTER DURING THE DAY. THE LOVE THAT POP HAD FOR ALL WAS SHOWN DAILY TO HIS DAUGHTERS AND GRANDDAUGHTER. I HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH FROM YOU JUST WANT YOU ALWAYS TO KNOW THAT I WILL MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU. I MADE YOU A PROMISE THAT ONLY YOU AND I KNOW WHICH WILL ALWAYS BE KEPT. REST EASY MY POP

This is one honorable, respectful man i know! He libed his life for his children especially hks two daughters! Seeing and making his daughters haooy was his happiness. If not for this man i do not know if i would have turned out to be where i am today. He always did the right thing by hks kids. If i can be half the man he was i will be as hapoy as he was. He was loved by all and hated by none. He will be dearly ,deeply missed by his family. He deserves to be at rest and peace for all his hard work and dedication,devotion to his kids. So lucky to have been in his life and homored to say he was my pop. Love you always love you.

I'M RELYING ON YOU TO CARRY ME NOW BECAUSE THE MERE THOUGHT OF A WORLD WITHOUT YOU IN IT IS INCONCEIVABLE. I TAKE SOLACE IN YOU KNOWING YOU ARE SO LOVED. BELOVED!
