we were saddened to learn of Bernie's death...he was a life long friend..gave me my first job, taught me as a young bride about the best cuts of meat..just a loving and wonderful man in every respect..always willing to lend a hand..a smile that would light up any occasion..he will truly rest in peace. The town of East Fishkill has lost greatly with his passing, as has anyone lucky enough to call him a friend.

It was a true pleasure to talk, eat, laugh, and enjoy life as a guest in Bernie and Barbara's home. I am very sorry for this loss and pray that the many years of memories will sustain Barbara and his family.

We will miss you, Bernie and all the stories you could tell...

Dear Bernie you will be missed by so many people. Amanda and I were fortunate to have wondered up your driveway to look for a place to keep our goats. Both you and your wife became very special people in our lives ever since. Amanda thought of the two of you as a second set of Grandparents. We will watch over Barbara for you.
