Charles Berry Obituary
Brooksville, FL - Charles A. Berry, a long time resident of Verbank NY, passed away on November 23, 2018 in Brooksville FL after a long battle with Alzheimers. He was born October 24, 1939 in Wheelock, Vermont to the late Dorothy and Garold Berry. He graduated from Greer school in 1958. Charlie was a long time member of the Verbank United Methodist Church where he played an active role in many comittees. He is survived by his Wife Doris Berry of Brooksville, FL; His three daughters Pam Simpson of Merrimack, NH; Lucinda Hill of Harrisburg, PA; Margaret Berry of Lagrangeville, NY. His siblings Amos Berry of Millbrook, NY; Douglas Berry of Millbrook, NY; Wayne Berry of Poughkeepsie, NY; Norma Williams of Bennington, Vermont ; Elaine Vitalis of Hustonville, Kentucky: 6 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Burial will be at the Verbank Rural Cemetery.

I remember when Charlie used to tell stories in church. My favorite was the one about a clock maker. I was always impressed how he seemed so quiet, but then appeared so comfortable in front of the Verbank congregation.
