Christopher Vincent Obituary
Dover Plains - Christopher Gerald Vincent, 56, a lifelong resident of Dover Plains, NY, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at his home in Dover Plains. Mr. Vincent was a union electrician at Perreca Electric in Newburgh, NY.
Born on December 11, 1961 in Jacksonville, FL he was the son of the late Charles and Hazel (Perry) Vincent. Mr. Vincent was a graduate of Dover High School class of 1980. On June 22, 2002 in Millerton, NY he married Lori Young who survives at home. Mr. Vincent was a member of the IBEW Local 363 in Harriman, NY. He was also a member of the Faith Bible Chapel in Millerton, NY.
In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Vincent is survived by his daughter, Sarah Vincent of Dover Plains. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles E. Vincent of Fort Meyers, FL and Steven Vincent of Dover Plains and three sisters, Rita Judson of Red Hook, Carmine Salter of Pensacola, FL and Ann Marie Edge of Fort Meyers. FL. He is also survived by six nieces and twelve nephews who he loved dearly.
Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Faith Bible Chapel, 222 Silver Mountain Road, Millerton, NY. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor William Mayhew officiating. Burial will take place at South Dover Rural Cemetery in Wingdale, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association Greater New York Chapter, 42 Broadway, Suite 1724, New York, NY 10004. I've had an incredible gift of knowing Chris for over 40 plus years. I will always be grateful for that lasting friendship we shared. As young kids growing up in the neighborhood, Spending time with Chris and his family during Holidays, Visits to West Virgina and Pensacola, Our "Guidetti" gang, all bring life to its fullest. Chris you were more than a neighbor, more than a friend. Sara and Lori are so fortunate to be in your life. Your soul will always be with us.
