On behalf of St. Martin CYO Basketball, we would like to express our condolences to Dave Birsner and his family for the loss of their father. David seemed like a very good man, which was exhibited by his impact on children and families through police work. This quality was clearly reflected in his son, Dave, who displayed the same impact as a coach in our program for many years. May God bless the Birsners during this difficult time, who we will keep in our thoughts and prayers.
God bless,
Chris Fields

Dear Patty, I remember David very well. We were both employed by Wards, and David was manager of the jewelry department. I well remember his leaving to go to work for the City Police Department. He was a good and honest man. My condolences to your family.
May he rest in the peace of the Father.

Dear Family of Mr. Birsner,
Please accept my most heartfelt condolences on the passing of Mr. Birsner. I never had the honor of meeting or knowing him, but I did know his son David, and what a terrific man he is. So, I know through David, his son what kind of wonderful man he was.
Young David was a very good customer at my restaurant, Coppola's Main Street). David occasionally stopped in for lunch, but frequently stopped in for dinner take out, Calamari. You were always very nice to me David and I appreciate that from you.
May God Bless Mr. Birsner, your family and may the Angels welcome Mr. Birsner into Paradise.
Sincerely,
Jim Morgan
