Deborah Rossi Obituary
HYDE PARK - Deborah Ann Rossi, age 56, of Bailey, NC, formerly of Hyde Park, NY, died Saturday.
Deborah was the Dept. Chairman of the Radiography Program at Edgecombe Comm. College.
She is survived by her husband, R. Peter Rossi; two daughters, Samantha Hoxha and husband, Bes of Newport News, VA, and Veronica Parris and husband, D.J. of Bailey; a son, Lawrence Rossi and wife, Lisa of Silver Spring, MD; a granddaughter, Lumturia Hoxha; two grandsons, Nicholas Rossi and Vincent Rossi; her mother, Marie Leibold of Ossining; two sisters, Hon. Francesca Connolly of Ossining, Barbara Portal of North Salem; and brother, Lawrence Leibold, of Ft. Collins, CO.
She was preceded by her father, Lawrence Leibold.
She will be reposing today, Tues. 5-8pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of Christian Burial Wed. 10am at St. Augustine's Church, burial St. Augustine's Cemetery.

Debbie (Leibold) Rossi served as our Class President for the Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan class of 1972 with distinction, enthusiasm and friendliness toward all. Debbie is remembered fondly by all who knew her in her youth and the decades beyond. Debbie, thank you for the memories. ♡

So sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. Debbie was a little older and a little wiser than I, always supportive and ready with advice or just to lend a sympathetic ear. Deb and I worked together at Vassar Hospital for many years, she as Director of Radiology and I of Radiation Oncology. She was a great teacher and loyal friend to many. Bob and I wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to our friend Peter and Deb's family.

Having known Debbie since high school where she was our class President, I can say Debbie always had an enjoyable outlook and was a pleasure to be with. We were shocked to see that Debbie had passed away. It is too short and much much too soon. She was a great and caring person. We enjoyed spending time with her. We will never forget how special she made Kendall's birthday at the Deb's tournament. As soon as she heard it was her BD, Debbie found a local store to pick up some things to surprise Kendall and also had all the girls sign a BD poster which Kendall still has.
We will never forget Debbie and she lives on in our hearts.

I was a classmate and close friend of Debbie. I am so, so saddened by her passing. She was was simply the kindest and sweetest person I ever met. She always knew how to make people feel good about themselves.
