Thosand Oaks, CA - Errol Vernon Knowles of Thousand Oaks California formerly of Poughkeepsie. He passed away peacefully on February 7, 2013 in Thousand Oaks . He was 63 years old

Born on January 10,1950 in The Bronx, NY to the late William and Cora Ann Knowles.

Errol was retired from IBM in Poughkeepsie prior to moving to California. In California he worked for Farmers Insurance Company prior to his death.

As a Jehovah Witness he had great enjoyment speaking bible truths to his neighbors. He was a talented writer and artist. He had a passion for reading. Also he enjoyed drawing and was a member of World of Poetry and the editor and chief of ESSEFF.

Errol is survived by his loving sisters Mrs Adriana Johnson (Roy) of Staatsburg NY, Mrs. Miriam Singleton (Benjamin ) of Poughkeepsie NY, his dear brother Mr. Marvin Knowles (Candace ) of Vero Beach FLA, 16 loving nieces and nephews and 11 grand nieces and nephews along with a host of loving cousins , extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 1pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness's, 30 Manchester Circle, Poughkeepsie , New York, with Brother Michael Penfield officiating. Interment will be at the discretion of the family in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.

Dear Family: We were crushed to hear of Errol's passing. It was a joy to know him and to be in his company. May you find comfort in knowing that he is in Jehovah's memory, soon to awaken in the Paradise.

Dear Adriana, Miriam and Marvin and families,
Losing a loved one in death is always sad but losing a sibling has its own profound sorrow. The sting is lessened because we know very soon this interruption of life will be replaced by endless blessings on a Paradise on earth.
