Evelyn Dolon Obituary
Dover Plains - Evelyn M. Dolon, 92, of Dover Plains, NY died on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Sharon Health Care Center in Sharon, CT.
Born on July 19, 1924 in Norwalk, CT she was the daughter of the late William and Georgianna (Buckley) Richmond. On August 6, 1942 in Bridgeport, CT she married Lawrence R. Dolon who predeceased her. Mrs. Dolon a member of the Tally-Ho Association and the Amenia-Wassaic Senior Citizens Club.
Mrs. Dolon is survived by her son, Carl Dolon and his wife, Kathleen, of Natrona Heights, PA; two grandchildren, Robert and Jennifer Dolan and a great granddaughter, Julia Dolan, and daughter-in-law, Teri Dolan (wife of the late Robert Dolan). She is also survived by nephews, William (Lynn) Richmond and David (Lisa) Richmond and nieces Anne (Brad) Wright and Patti and (Jenna) Richmond.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Dolon was predeceased by a brother, Charles Richmond.
A memorial service will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Rt. 22, Dover Plains, NY. For directions or to send the family an online condolence, please visit www.hufcutfuneralhome.com
