Florence Jamison Obituary
Hyde Park - Florence B. Jamison, 88, of Hyde Park, died on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at her home.
Born on July 23, 1929 in Modena, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Rose (White) Ellison. She was a 1947 graduate of New Paltz High School.
Florence worked in the cafeteria for Overlook Elementary School (Arlington School District) for many years until her retirement in 1988.
On July 25, 1954 in Modena, she married Walter L. Jamison. Her husband predeceased her in 1995.
Florence is survived by her two sons: Daniel B. Jamison of Kingston and William D. Jamison of Hyde Park; one granddaughter; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by three brothers: Henry, Emil, and Norman, and three sisters: Linda, Rose, and Winifred.
Calling hours will be from 7-9pm on Monday, March 5th at Sweet's Funeral Home, Route 9, Hyde Park.
Funeral services will be at 11am on Tuesday, March 6th at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the family plot in Union Cemetery of Hyde Park.
