Millbrook - Geraldine Van Wagner, 75, of Millbrook, NY passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY, surrounded by her family on October 22, 2012. She was born on March 7, 1937 in Barrytown, NY to Kenneth Van Wagner and Florence Burns. She was previously from Poughkeepsie and Pleasant Valley. She attended Arlington schools in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was employed at the Dutchess County Infirmary in Millbrook and retired in 1980. Geraldine had many interests, puzzle books, puzzles, drawing, painting, knitting, crocheting but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Geraldine is survived by her children, Joseph McDonnell, Jr. (Bonnie) of Millbrook, NY, Thomas Van Wagner, of Pok, Debra Faison (Joseph Berry, Sr.) of Pok., brothers; Kenneth, Douglas, Edward (Pete), sisters; Mary, Karen, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, 1 aunt, several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her companion, Joseph S. McDonnell, Sr. - November 23, 1997 and son, Timmy McDonnell - October 9, 1973.
Cremation has already taken place and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Joseph J.
