Jerry was my Obi-Wan Kenobi, as I affectionately called him "Jerry-Wan". For he shared all the knowledge and wisdom I needed to become the clean and sober man I am today. In the last 3 years, Jerry helped me realize my self-worth, inner strength and my purpose in life today: to stay sober, help others and bring joy to as many people I can just as he did. My heart broke when I heard the news of his passing, but was also in a way relieved knowing he wasn't suffering anymore. God, what a brave and selfless man he was. May I express my deepest sympathies, thoughts and well wishes to his family during this difficult time. Jerry was and IS loved by so many people. I will miss him DEEPLY and I am so proud to have called him counselor, teacher and friend. Jim Lauletta

Jerry was very influential, probably the most influential person in my recovery from drug addiction. He had a very special and irreplaceable touch for making you feel appreciated and responsible and loved all in one statement! He will be greatly missed but always remembered with love, respect, and appreciation by myself and everyone whoever new or worked with him. The world (and especially Right-turn)has a huge void which will be hard to fill!

Jerry, ever gentle and kind, will be sorely missed by this fellow golfer and fellowship member. He won some of my cash many times, but then would buy breakfast. His familiar words, 'thanks Babe', always brought a smile to my face. My deepest condolences, to Angie and all of his family.
