Gray, TN - Glenn Allen Cargain, of Gray Tennessee and a past resident of Mahopac, NY, died on December 05, 2014. He was born on February 18, 1948 in Putnam County New York.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 20 years Linda Cargain and his three children, Glenn Jr, Cheryl, and Terry, His two step daughters Samantha and Krista Costello as well as, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by brothers Emerson, Jay, Jack, and Garrett Cragain, Robert, Richard and James Bruen,.He was predeceased by his parents Emerson Cargain and Loretta J Williams-Bruen and three brothers Harold, Jay and Louis Cargain.

Glenn attended the Mahopac School District prior to entering the US Army in 1966. He served his country gallantly during the Vietnam War returning home with a Bronze Star and Purple Heart for being wounded in action. He was actively involved with various organizations' that supported veterans, such as The Patriot Guard and The Purple Heart Riders.

A private service is to be held in Tennessee for family, with plans for a memorial to be held locally in Mahopac in the Spring of 2015. The family would appreciate any donations in Glen's memory to be made to a charity of your choice.
