Sharon, CT - Greysen Joseph Gregory passed away at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT where he was born just two years ago. On May 26th, Greysen lost his battle with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), a very rare kidney disease.

Greysen is survived by his loving mother Mary AuClaire of Canaan, CT and loving father Joseph Gregory and girlfriend Tracie Makula of Morris, CT. Left to cherish his memory are grandparents Sherry "Nana" AuClaire of Sharon, CT, Dana & Robert Davis of Dover Plains, NY, Darren & Toni Ann Peterson of Wassaic, NY, Godmother and cousin Samantha Davis of Dover Plains, NY, and cousins Jo Marie and Mitchel Peterson of Wassaic, NY. Grandfather Gary Gregory of Hyde Park, NY, Godfather and Uncle Scott and wife Brenda Gregory and children Tyler, Lindsey and Connor of Ft. Myers, FL, Aunt Elizabeth and husband Brandt Rodgers and children Zachary and wife Elizabeth & Lauren Rodgers of Hyde Park, NY, Aunt Lorraine and husband Larry Fischer and children Danny, Rachael, Adam of Poughkeepsie, NY. Greysen was predeceased by his grandfather Joseph AuClaire and grandmother Maryann Gregory "Nana".

The family wishes to thank the staff at Connecticut Children's Medical Center for their loving support during his stay, Jo Ann Jaacks and Rose Buckens who organized Greysen's benefit at the Morris Community Hall and the people of the Litchfield, Michelle and Ella Hewin from Canaan Elementary School for their for their outpouring of love and support. Greysen's time on this earth was short but his smile and struggle touched the hearts of many. Greysen's legacy will continue with the donation of his heart valves and cornea's to those in need providing them the gift of life.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7pm at Kenny Funeral Home 41 Main Street Sharon, CT. A mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday at St. Bernard's Church in Sharon at 11am with internment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road Sharon, CT. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to connecticutchildrensfoundation.org. The Kenny Funeral Home Sharon has care of arrangements.
