Hazel McCann Obituary

Hazel D. McCann

Hazel D. McCann, daughter of the late Harold and Muriel Caley and a longtime Brewster resident, passed away peacefully at the age of 63 on Sunday, 5/7/17, after a courageous struggle with ovarian cancer. Hazel is survived by her loving family: husband Bill, children Cherilyn McCann-Lee (Matt), Katherine Cody (Michael) and Andrew; six grandchildren (Matthew, Kaylis and Avery Lee; Henry, Elizabeth and Benjamin Cody); and her dear sister Pauline Paulsen. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews in the United Kingdom as well as in the U.S.

We are very grateful for the wonderful care Hazel received from the staff and volunteers at Regional Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 30 Milestone Road, Danbury, CT 06810. Donations in Hazel's name would be much appreciated. Funeral arrangements are private.

Miss you mom...a little late on your message this year. We went to Rhinebeck and had brunch on May 7th. It was a beautiful day to walk around the town and watch Henry´s soccer game. You would´ve loved it...miss you more than ever

Another sweet, loving, creative lady has passed...way too early. I enjoyed our conversations about family, kids, crafts and Cape Cod while at family parties at the Cody's. Our thoughts are with you all.
