Ina Friedman Obituary
POUGHKEEPSIE - Ina Friedman, age 85, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend and longtime resident of Wappingers Falls and Poughkeepsie, passed away on December 16, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Mt. Vernon, NY, the daughter of Harold and Josephine Bonnerwith. Ina was married to her devoted husband, Harold Friedman, for more than 55 years. She was the Owner/Broker of Century 21 Hudson Valley Realty in Poughkeepsie, NY and a founder of the Mid-Hudson Multiple Listing Service. Ina was a member of the Mid-Hudson Board of Realtors, Temple Beth El and a lifetime member of Hadassah.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Friedman; daughters Monica Friedman Oestreich of Belmont, CA and Melina Friedman of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Sophie and Max Oestreich, and Eden and Esme Carney-Friedman. She was preceded in death by her brother Oliver Bonnerwith and sister Maxine Adler.
Services will be held at Temple Beth El, 118 Grand Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 12:30pm. Rabbi Daniel Victor will officiate, and the burial will follow at the Temple Beth El Cemetery. Donations in her honor may be made to: Hadassah, Attn: Donor Services, PO Box 1100, New York, NY 10268.

I am so sad for the loss of Mrs. Friedman, Ina, she was like a Mom to me and was always so welcoming and nurturing. She was a strong, bright and wonderful woman that will be missed by all who knew her, I am sure of that.
My heart and prayers go out to her and her family, who I also miss. I am so sorry to have missed the service, I really wish I could have been there.
This world will not be the same without her, but i know she is in a better place now. May she be in peace there, waiting for us...

I will always remember Ina for her crafty, sharp intelligence when it came to real estate. She was an energetic, motivated Realtor who was willing to share and teach those around her. I admired her chutzpah and adored doing business with her. She will be missed in a huge way, as the community has lost an amazing business woman. RIP dear friend. My sincere condolences to her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family.
