Jamie Callan Obituary
Poughkeepsie, NY - Jamie A. Callan, 54, of Poughkeepsie, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at her home.
She was born in Peekskill April 16, 1960, the daughter of Eugene J. Callan and Jeanne F. Egan. She was employed as a waitress.
Jamie enjoyed finding a good bargain, the beach, and the walkway over the Hudson everyday. She loved her family, her nieces and nephews, and especially her beloved son Michael. Everyone who knew her enjoyed her sense of humor. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her son Michael Polizzi, Sisters, Maureen Cairl and her husband Ralph, Bethann Callan-Rybicki and her husband Stanley, Suzanne Darling and her husband Dean, Brothers, Daniel Callan and his wife Ann, Martin Callan and his wife Andrea, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Jamie is predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Wilson.
Friends may call at the Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Church, Clinton St., Wappingers Falls.
