Janet Baker Obituary
Rhinebeck, NY - Janet C. Baker, 75, of Rhinebeck passed away Sunday, May 19th at Ferncliff Nursing Home. Janet was born June 16, 1937 in Poughkeepsie, NY the daughter of the late Kenneth Prince and Vivian Chapman. She was a housekeeper for St. Francis hospital in Poughkeepsie. She was a beloved mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her sons: George Baker and Raymond L. Murphy, Jr. along with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 31st from 10 am-11 am at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 218 Mill Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Wheelchair entrance is located in the rear of the funeral home on Vassar Street. Prayers will be offered at 11 am during the memorial service with inurnment to follow at St. Peter's Mausoleum, Poughkeepsie, NY.
