Jean Laffin Obituary
Wappingers Falls - Jean M. Laffin, 85, of Wappingers Falls, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Wappingers Falls, November 24, 1933, the daughter of Cornelius and Mary Gibbons Kelly. On May 5, 1957, she was married to Thomas J. Laffin, who died May 28, 2009.
Jean was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at W.T.Garner Eng. Co. for over 50 years.She enjoyed Bingo, the casinos, and socializing with her friends.
Jean is survived by her children, MaryJo Laffin of Wappingers Falls, Thomas Laffin, Jr. of Orlando, Fla., Sue Simmons (Mark) of Highland, Tim Laffin of Wappingers Falls, and Michelle Laffin of Wappingers Falls, Grandchildren, Jesse Laffin-Aviles, Tana Houston, Erin Simmons, Lucas Simmons, several greatgrandchildren, a sister, Mary DiCambio, and several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her siblings, Joan, Pat, Barbara and Cornelius.
The family would like to thank Dr. and Mrs. Edward Schneider for their care and kindness.
Friends may call at the Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, Monday from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Marys Church, Clinton St., Wappingers Falls. Burial St. Marys Cemetery.

Prayers for the Laffin family. Mary always spoke kindly about everyone. Her Dad ran Kelly's Market where meats were sold.The Nuns back in the day at St. Mary's loved him.
