CANADAIGUA - Jeannette H. Sherry, 82, of Canadaigua, NY, formerly of Poughkeepsie, NY died on Sunday, August 11, 2013. "Jean" was born on August 29, 1930 in Great Meadows, NJ, the daughter of Victor and Helen Klimas who predeceased her.

Jean is also predeceased by her two brothers, Victor (Jean) and Klee (Gay) and her sister Helen Kowalik (Wesley). She is also predeceased by a grandson, Timothy Covney.

She is survived by her sisters; Theresa Malaska, Frances Kosinchuk, Victoria Ekeson and Susan Dohanik, and her brother: Edward Klimas (Brenda). Jean is also survived by her seven children: Patricia Miller (Tobias), William Sherry, Jr. (Judith), Susan Miligy, Margaret Dugan (Mark), Nancy Dingee, Joan Sherry, and Jean Marie Ahart (John) as well as 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Cochran Funeral Home, 908-852-3361, (www.cochranfuneral.com). On Thursday, August 15, 2013 there will be a private family viewing prior to a funeral mass at 11:00 AM at STS. Peter an Paul R.C. Church, 360 Rt. 46, Great Meadows, NJ and a burial at Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Road, Geneva, NY 14456 or the hospice group of your choice.
