John Stefanopoulos Obituary
Stefanopoulos
AMENIA - John P. Stefanopoulos passed away tragically in a car accident on October 28th, 2011 at the age of only twenty-two. He was born on July 8th 1989 in Sharon, CT with his family originally from Kertezi, Greece. He is survived by his beloved parents Peter and Olga, his two loving sisters Eleni and Sophia , and his younger brother Thomas. He also leaves behind his countless friends and above all his close cousins who loved him dearly. He attended Kent Preparatory High School, and later Marist College where he recently received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management. After his graduation in May, he pursued his dream of running his family business, Four Brothers Pizza Inn.
John will always be remembered and known as the person with the kindest of hearts, putting others needs before his, a bright smile on his face, and optimism in life that was felt by everyone he touched. Heaven has gained a true angel. He will forever be in our hearts, minds, and prayers.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 30 from 4-8 pm at Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 31 at 2 pm from Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church, 140 S. Grand Ave., Poughkeepsie. Interment will follow in Amenia Island Cemetery.
