It is that time of the year again.
Remembering your laugh,
eyes so bright singing the songs.
Baking, shopping, writing the cards.
Decorate the house inside and out.
Watch the snow gently fall then
pile up here and there.
See the children laughing and sitting with Santa.
The memories are so strong
they bring tears and smiles.
The empty space is still there, in the heart,
in the room, under the tree.
