Kenneth W. Finnegan

Pleasant Valley - Kenneth W. Finnegan, age 73, of Pleasant Valley, died Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie, NY. Kenneth was born January 28, 1944 in Queens, NY. He is the son of the late John and the late Katherine (Jones) Finnegan. He married Marion R. Novey in September of 1967 in Long Island New York. Kenneth was predeceased by his wife, Marion R. Novey on May 23, 2003.

A local resident of the Poughkeepsie area since 1971 previously of Queens, New York. Kenneth was a Self Employed Mechanic and he loved to work on cars.

He is survived by three daughters Mary R. Lehan and her husband Thomas of Staatsburg, NY, Loretta Domonkos and her husband Craig of Pleasant Valley, NY and Bonnie Lyons and her husband Kevin of Pleasant Valley, NY, a son Kenneth W. Finnegan of Pleasant Valley, NY; sister Kay and her husband Paul Flannery of CT ,brother Jack and his wife Pat Finnegan of Long Island, NY, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Kenneth was predeceased by his brother Lanny Finnegan.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

So sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. He was a good friend. He was always such a gentleman. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be sorely missed.

Rest in Peace Mr. Finnegan You have been a very close friend of our family for many years and have repaired quite a few vehicles for our family. You were always there when we needed repairs! You had a very caring heart and helped out a lot of people in many ways. You will be greatly missed ❤ My deepest condolences to Mr. Finnegan"s family and friends.

Kenny and girls, I am so saddened by the passing of your father. He was the nicest guy you would want to meet and the best mechanic around. He definitely passed that talent on to his son.
