Madeline Costa Obituary
Ancramdale, NY - Madeline W. Costa, 90, a life-long resident, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Vassar Brother's Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY
She was born on April 3, 1926 in Ancram, NY the daughter of the late Rudolph and Pearl Belva (Wood) Brower.
Mrs. Costa was a secretary for IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY.
She was an elder, Sunday school teacher, a longtime choir member and a member of the Women's Assoc. of the Ancramdale Presbyterian Church.
She married John Costa Jr. He predeceased her on October 7, 2010.
Survivors include her family, Michael and Kimberly Coons of Ancramdale, NY; Blaire M. Coons, Michael D. Coons Jr., Nicolas J. Tornberg, Arlene Brower and many cousins.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from the Ancramdale Presbyterian Church with Pastor Carol Miller officiating. A reception will follow the service.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to the Ancramdale Presbyterian Church PO Box 99 Ancramdale, NY 12503.
