I remember the day Mauricio was trying to find my home with his son Daniel in Santa Tecla, El Salvador. Mauricio sent Daniel to ring the doorbell in a house which was not mine and another gentleman appeared saying there were not any "Alfonso" living there and Mauricio yelled at Daniel from his car saying: "muchachito! (Hey Boy) I told you not to bother the neighbors ringing their doorbells!!" LOL Mauricio told me that story with laughing tears in his eyes . Always in my funniest memories Mauricio

We were friends for not even 3 years. During that time, you showed me the love you had for your family and the love they had for you. Your humor, your caring, all the things that made you you, I will always remember. And if you get a chance, email me a picture from heaven. We'll all miss you here.

My deepest symphony goes out to the entire Berdugo family. I have worked with Maurico for many years. We taught each other many things and had a lot of laughs alone the way. I will miss a "friend" very much.

Rosie, Mauricio, Angie, Karen, and Daniel,

It is with heavy heart I send this note to your family. We were very blessed to have known Mauricio. He was always very thoughtful and kind. I remember his wonderful support for everyone when Afton was so ill. I love the pictures I see of him on Facebook surrounded by all of you smiling, and the joy that you see on his face as he holds his grandchildren.

Know that our family has you in our thoughts and prayers through this time.

My deepest symphony to the Berdugo family on the loss of Mauricio. Mauricio always talked of his family and seem to be happy. He could strike a conversation with anyone and in short time it was if he had known you forever. I traveled to Mexico last year for work twice with him last year and saw this first hand. He will truly be missed.

I want you to know that you were the first man I ever loved, and in turn you were the first man to love me back. I remember how you taught me so many things in life...You taught me how to ride a bike, drive a car, format a computer, but above everything else you taught me how to love. Daddy I will miss you so much.

Daddy, you look so handsome in your picture. I can't believe that this is happening right now. I miss you so much, and I hurt everyday knowing that you are not with me. Please know Daddy that I love you so very much and I'm everything I am because you loved me. I love you and miss you most!
