Pamela Swartz Obituary
Dover Plains - Pamela L. Swartz, 59, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mrs. Swartz was a registered nurse and worked as the school nurse at the Pine Plains School District. Most recently, she was an independent consultant with Vantel Pearls of Mansfield, MA.
Born on September 10, 1958 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Allan Richman and Barbara (Bowen) Muncey. She was a graduate of Dover High School in Dover Plains and the Dutchess Community College Nursing Program in Poughkeepsie. On November 3, 1979 in Pleasant Valley, NY, she married Robert C. Swartz who survives in Dover Plains. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Fallon Swartz, Barbara Swartz and son-in-law, Michael O'dell and Meaghen Swartz, all of Dover Plains, NY. She is also survived by two brothers, Douglas Richman of Tuckahoe, NY and Steven Richman and his wife, Maria, of Carmel, NY; a sister, Rose Muncey of Poughkeepsie, NY; five grandchildren, Aidan Logiudice, Marquise Swartz-Vann, Julious Swartz, Jahvon Jones and Isaiah Earley.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Kathleen Meyerson officiating. Burial will be private.
