Paul Kutz Obituary
New Paltz - Paul A. Kutz, age 62, of New Paltz, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at home in New Paltz. Paul was born October 20, 1949 in Englewood, NJ . He is the son of Arthur E. and the late Wilma E. (Schultz) Kutz. He married Arlene L. Ristow on November 10, 1984 in Pleasant Valley New York.
He served in the United States Navy from 12/16/1969 to 01/15/1974. He retired from Shawangunk Correctional Facility in March of 2009 as a Corrections Officer.
Paul was a member of the American Legion. He loved to watch NASCAR, was a avid NY Gaints and Yankees Fan and loved his Dogs.
He was a Plank owner of the USS John F. Kennedy CVA-67
He is survived by his wife: Arlene L.(Ristow) Kutz of New Paltz NY ; his father Arthur E. Kutz of Hamstead, NC; his Step Daughter, Tracey Rhoades of Highland, NY; his Grandchildren, Danielle Dierberger of Pleasant Valley, Steven Dierberger of Hyde Park, Joseph Rhoades and Connor Rhoades of Highland, NY and his Great Granddaughter, Averee. Paul is also survived by his Sister In-law and Brother In-law, Linda And Ted Coccia of Middletown; his Niece, Sabrina Coccia and his two sons and daughter. Paul was predeceased by his Mother Wilma Kutz and his Step Son, Fred Dierberger Jr..
A graveside service will be held 10:00 am on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Modena Cemetery, New Paltz, NY.
Calling hours will be Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 2pm to 5pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
Memorial donations can be made in Paul's name to Esophageal Cancer Action Network, P.O. Box 243, Stevenson, Maryland 21153, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center or Hospice Foundation 374 Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.

Mrs. Kutz & Family: I worked with Paul for many years during his employment at Green Haven C.F., I retired in 2001 I was the Deputy Superintendent of Security. Paul was a great employee, he did his job, giving it 100% all the time, he was well respected by his peers and administrators. Both my wife and I are very sorry to hear of his passing.
