Samuel Vitale Obituary
RHINEBECK - Samuel J. Vitale, 53, a resident of Rhinebeck since 1998 and formerly of Pleasantville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center.
Born in Mount Kisco on April 7, 1960, he was the son of Salvatore and Constance Maldonado Vitale. A plumber and contractor for 30 years, Samuel was the owner and operator of Plumb Construction located in Pleasantville.
On September 9, 2001, he married Nina Vitale who survives at home. He is also survived by his children Miya-Natalina Vitale and Benjamin-Gabriel Vitale; his siblings, Edward Vitale and his wife Lisa, Brenda Melendez and her husband Ralph, and James Vitale; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 am. Interment will follow in the Wurtemburg Cemetery in Rhinebeck.
