William F. Bialko

Highland, NY - William F. Bialko, 77, a resident of Highland since November 1965, passed away Monday, February 27th at Wingate @ Ulster in Highland.

Bill was born October 16, 1934 in Poughkeepsie, NY the son of the late Frank and Anna Bialko.

On September 26, 1964 Bill married Valerie Sumski in Poughkeepsie. Bill proudly served his country in the US Army for three years from 1953-1956.

He retired from IBM in 1990 where he was a Senior Associate Engineer, Stress Equipment Engineer, in Dept. 1W3 for 31 years. Bill enjoyed dancing, bowling, refinishing old furniture, fishing and golf.

Bill is survived by his wife Valerie, his son Howard Fisher and wife Jane of Gardiner, NY, his daughter Stephanie Sumski Grossman of Colorado, granddaughter Hayley Anna Fisher, 3 Grandsons Jason, Kevin and AJ, and one Great granddaughter Emily Ria. Bill was predeceased by his two brothers, Garf and Joe, and two sisters, Isabell and Jean.

There will be no calling hours. In keeping with family wishes, cremation will take place.
