Wayne E. Weege
Wayne E. Weege 81, of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was a retired USDA Soil Conservationist and an Air Force Veteran in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his parents George C and Gertrude (Wagnitz) Weege; brothers George and Ernie; four sisters Dolores, Susan, Sally and Judy.
A memorial service will be at 11AM, Monday July 19, 2021 at Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren with Wes Hilliard officiating under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. Friends are invited to a time of fellowship and food with the family following the service.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Sue of the home; two sons Tim Weege and wife Valicia; and Scott and wife Jennifer all of Van Buren; two brothers James Weege of Florida and Patrick Weege of Wisconsin; two sisters Sandra Pritzlaff and Edie Walter both of Wisconsin; four grandchildren Zach Belt of Mulberry, Peyton Weege, Parker Weege and Chase Weege all of Van Buren; one great-grandson Joseph Belt.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Heritage United Methodist Church, 1604 E. Pointer Trail Van Buren, Arkansas 72956.
