Trick, Agnes (Wiktorek)

Johnson City: Agnes (Wiktorek) Trick, 88, of Johnson City, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2011, at James G. Johnston Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her parents, Constantine and Antoinette Wiktorek; and her loving husband of 40 years, LaVerne Trick. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rose Marie and Stu Bernstein, Elkhorn, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Sean, Madison, Wisconsin, Ashley and LaShanna, Lincoln, Nebraska; a sister, Cecelia Cermak; and three nieces, MaryAnne, Joanne and Francine. Agnes was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity. She was the daughter of Constantine and Antoinette Wiktorek, who came to the United States at the turn of the 20th century from Poland. She will be remembered for her volunteer work at her church, her love for the outdoors, and the love for her dogs and horses. She will also be remembered for her musical ability in voice and piano, but most of all her garden and her yard. She also cherished her time at the cabin she built with LaVerne where everyone was welcome to come, relax and enjoy themselves. We wish to thank the entire staff at the Hilltop Campus for the exceptional care for the last two years she resided there. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at the Church of the Holy Trinity. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
