Ann Chambala Obituary
of Johnson City
Ann Marie Chambala, 86, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Wilson Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Anna Kadlecik; and her sister, Susan Sansky. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Hank; her son, Michael and his wife, Wyoma; her grandson, Bryan and his wife, Kelly; her granddaughter, Amanda; two great-grandsons, Everett and Wesley; her sister, Jane Campbell; and several nieces and nephews. Her selfless, giving nature was an inspiration to our family. Her kindness and humor will truly be missed.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, and at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Holy Trinity.

Dearest Hank, Micheal and family- God Bless you at this time sorrow and for your loss. I will always remember Annie and what a sweet, wonderful woman she was. I will never forget the little breakfasts Michael and I would share in your kitchen before we would walk to school. Especially when she would serve us the Queen Ann Cherries. Having the pleasure of knowing several of Ann marie Chambala's family I have attributed the love, compassion, and sensitivity, always evident in each of you as her life long gift to you. I can think of no greater legacy to leave a family with. Every family has a source where their strength comes from so when you feel the weight of her loss I hope you will remember she taught you to embrace life and feel all things deeply and your healing will come when you grieve together.
