Barbara Jean (Cass) Shady
of BinghamtonMrs. Barbara Jean (Cass) Shady, loving mother and grandmother, passed away late Tuesday night, August 29, 2006, at Bridgewater Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband, David, Florida, formerly of Binghamton. She was the eldest daughter, born June 25, 1950 to Newell and Jean Emerson Cass, Nichols, N.Y., both deceased. She is survived by four wonderful sons, Mathew (his wife Tracy and five grandchildren), Fredrick, Md., Anthony, Nicholas, and Daniel, all of Binghamton, N.Y. Her loving brothers and sisters, Bill and Linda Cass, Nichols, N.Y., Neland Cass and Midge Miller, Binghamton, N.Y., Tom and Carol (Cass) Dyno, Johnson City, N.Y., John and Valerie (Cass) Patak, Vestal, N.Y.; and many wonderful nieces and nephews would like to thank the entire staff of Bridgewater Rehabilitation Center and Wilson Memorial Hospital for their love and compassion. She will be missed for her love and kind nature by all those who knew her.
