Beverly Johnson Obituary
Beverly "Betty" Jean (Neff) Johnson, 87, of Binghamton, New York, passed away on June 27, 2013, at Willow Point Nursing Home in Vestal, New York. She is predeceased by her husband, Milton "Al" Johnson, Sr., her parents, John and Lillian Neff, and her daughter, Jeanne Marie Whitcombe. She is survived by her son, John (Thelma) Whitcombe, stepdaughter, Barbara (Jan) Chilson, stepson Milton (Carla) Johnson, and John's half sister, Tammie (Edwin) Miller II; her grandchildren, Anthony Whitcombe, Rebecca Whitcombe, Jeffrey Whitcombe, Michele Adams, Daniel and Shawn Adams, Nina and Brendan Shand, Nicholas Johnson, Rachel Miller, Edwin Miller III; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous cousins and many friends. Beverly was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church since 1938, and an active member of the North High Class of 1945 reunion committee. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME INC., 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton, NY 13904. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1, at 11:00 a.m., at Fairview United Methodist Church, 254 Robinson Street, Binghamton NY 13904. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Fairview United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or your favorite children's organization.

Always a nice time at our Class Reunion Meetings with Bev , who was a wonderful classmate. I know she will be sitting with God.
