Dear Kevin, Betty and family,

Chris' extended family at BDC wishes to express their sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved Chris. As Chris made her journey through life, we were so blessed to have been one of the destinations in her travels. We were honored by your trust in our ability to care for Chris. She made it so easy for us to care about her. Please know that Chris always had her family in her thoughts and wished you the best that life could offer. She was at peace and her belief that she would join her family and friends provided comfort throughout her final days. The visits from her many friends, old and new, gave her the strength to meet each new day. So many times in the last week she found the words to recall a story or conversation she had had with a particular person and did so with such detail and clarity. Although we are saddened by our loss, we are comforted in knowing that Chris was part of our lives. As she continues on her journey, meeting family, old friends and accompanied by CathyAnn and Peter Paul, she'll never be alone. She'll be able to relax ("No more exercises-I'm retired, you know") and enjoy that Pepsi and tell the story of how someone tried to slip her a Coke instead! God bless you and your family. We will celebrate Chris' life!

Kevin & family,
Christine is remembered by me for her sweetness which I know was a reflection of how very much she was loved and well cared for by her parents and family.
Your parents where such wonderful people whom I admire to this day for many, many reasons and such good friends to my parents.

Dear Kev & family,

My memories of Chirstine and all the your family are so clear. Chris always had a special way of pronouncing my name: "is that Billy?" I still vividly recall enjoying my visits with Mo in Lourdes hospital and trying to get her something special for her food trays (even though she never would eat much).
How lucky we were to have such unique friendships between our two families. Your parents and all of you have such a wonderful place in my life and upbringing... the visits to your home on Mary street, the endless summer days on the river in Windsor, the countless hands of competitive Euchre...wonderful memories too numerous to recall here. Just know how much we share in both your sorrow and joy in the passing of your sister.

With condolences and fondest of recollections,
Bill Walsh

Dear Kevin,

We got the word of Christine's passing late Friday night when we returned home from a night out. Paul Regan, whom we see from time to time, had left us a message.

My mom was visiting Bill in North Carolina, so she did not get the news until this morning.

Please accept our warmest condolences. Chris any you will be in our prayers today, and we'll send a donation to the Day Rehab Program in lieu of flowers as requested.

Kevin & Family:
It is with sadness I write this yet with joy. In Christine's own beautiful way she brought joy and laughter to many people. She could make you see the beauty in things around you and in you which in this ever-busy, fast paced life, which we think is the way to go, were so often overlooked by us mortals. Christine always made you stop to smell the roses. I know God has reserved a special place for her in Heaven, May God bless you and your family and may He keep you all safe in the hollow of His Hand.
