Manarky, Edith

Edith M. Manarky, 78, of Windsor passed away October 28, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband Jack of 53 years in 2009; her brother Alton Frear and sister Marcia Baldwin. Edith is survived by her children; Kevin and Karen Manarky of Amston, CT and their children Courtney and Madison; Lori Manarky and her children Kyle and Chelsea; sister-in-law Peggy Frear; brother Clayton and Valerie Frear; brother-in-law Eugene Baldwin; brother David and Jeannie Frear; sister-in-law Sharon Manarky; Jay and Diane Casper; Ron and Kay Smith and many nieces and nephews. She was a lifetime member and past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 1645. She loved spending time with Jack traveling and enjoyed watching the NY Yankees. Her gullable nature and unique way with words brought a smile to those around her and will be missed. A special thank you to Wilson Hospital's CCU for the care given to Edith. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 10am until 12 Noon at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon at the funeral home, Pastor Daniel Baker will officiate. Burial be in Knox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675 in Edith's memory.
