Erdine Carner Obituary
Erdine Carner 83 of Cape Coral, Fl and formerly of Binghamton, NY went to be with the Lord on the morning of June 19, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Carner September 2013 to whom she was married for 56 years. They were inseparable and loved each other dearly. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Helen Hine, son Wade Carner and sister in law Lois Hine. She is survived by her brother Ron Hine of Minocqua WI, sons Brett (Barbara) Carner of Cape Coral, Fl and Reid ( Lori ) Carner of Pine Island, FL daughter in law Tomi Carner Binghamton, NY and grand children Caitlin, Brenden, Collin, Thomas, Connor and Ricky. She also leaves behind a special group of dear friends who she loved dearly. Erdine was a Nurse supervisor in the pediatrics unit at Wilson Memorial hospital until her first child arrived, then she was a full time mom to her three boys. She was always busy with some kind of church activity or sporting event with her kids. She loved to garden and always had a yard full of beautiful flowers and also grew many types of vegetables. She was a past member at Faith Baptist Church where she met and had many life long friends along with her neighbors from the East Side on Gaylord St. She enjoyed her time at the farm with Gordon where they would go to relax or her many trips fishing to the Saint Lawrence River or Maine with the kids or fishing in Fort Myers with Gordon. Erdine and Gordon wintered in Fort Myers, Fl for the past 20 years at the Sun "N" Fun retirement park. She was a past member of the Red Hatters club and also loved to sew and knit. Erdine and Gordon are now reunited and together again. She was a great wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend and will be truly missed by all that new her.
Visitation will be held on Saturday June 27th from 10-12PM with a short service to follow at noon at THOMAS J SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St Binghamton, NY.
A celebration of her life will be at 1 PM after the service for friends and family at the American Legion Post 1254 on Grace St in Binghamton.

So sorry for your sadness and loss. Mrs. Carner was a wonderful person and friend to everyone she knew. She always had time and cared so much about all those she loved. What a great person she was. She went to
school with my husband, Dick, and we jabbered a lot at Faith Baptist Church.
I will miss her greatly.
