I met Fran at some point between 1964 and 1966 while I was a lifeguard at State Park. He had worked there a couple years before me and most of that group was pretty close-knit. I met him at some event where former guards came back. We all were united in pride for our work and our records of safe summers on an extraordinarily crowded waterfront. Fran was something of a legend among us. He is missed. Rip Ho! Fran.

Judie and Mary, so very sorry for the loss of Fran. As a top notch swim coach, he was an important part of our lives and helped shape our girls into the successful adults they are today. For that we are grateful, God bless.

RIP Fran. I was a member of the Eyerock offshore racing team as a navigator. Fran did a lot of work on the Eyerock motors. I think we took 3rd in the world that year. Those motors purred like a kitten. He will be missed.
