Francis Moyer Obituary
Endicott: Francis (Jake) Moyer, 82, of Endicott, died at Willow Point Nursing Home, Monday, October 24, 2011. He was predeceased by his wife, Faye in 2002; a son, Jay; granddaughter, Bonnie; a brother and several sisters. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and George Hamm, Endicott and Melita and Blaine Tiffany, Maine, NY; five grandchildren, Brenda Wayman, Cynthia DuBois, Jess Allyn, Lucas and Larissa Tiffany; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Eleanore McRorie, Florida; a special sister-in-law, Dorothy Moyer, Endicott; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jake was a retired Stever Brothers employee, a veteran of the US Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 1700, Endicott and the Owego VFW Post. The family would like to thank the staff of West Wing One at Willow Point Nursing Home, for all the care and compassion shown Jake and them, during his stay there. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 10 a.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Gary Ingraham of Union Center Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Diane, Melita and families,
Deepest sympathy sent your way from all of us during a time like this. I always enjoyed Jake when he'd come to our house when Jen took care of him. He always enjoyed our conversations.
