FRANK V. (CURLEY) NEZELEK
formerly of Johnson City
Frank V. (Curley) Nezelek, 89, formerly of Johnson City, died at Riverwoods Nursing Home in Lewisburg, Pa, after a short illness Wednesday, June 13, 2001. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (Pat) Nezelek; his parents, Frank Niziolek; mother and step-father, Zofia and Wojciech Swider; two sisters, Berniece Swider and Cecile Tillapaugh; five brothers-in-law, Herbert Tillabaugh, Stanley Maston, Edward Hlebica, Fred Debnar, James Bakanowski; one daughter-in-law, Beverly A. Nezelek; one son-in-law, Michael LaGrega. He is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Anita and Kaissar Ibrahim, Raleigh, N.C., Mary LaGrega, Lewisburg, Pa; two sons, Francis A. Nezelek, Endicott and Donald E. Nezelek, Johnson City; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters; Helen Bakanowski, Johnson City; Stella Maston, Binghamton, Wanda Debnar, Binghamton, Frances Hlebica, Johnson City; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand- nephews. He was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Endicott, a retired Endicott Johnson Corporation employee, a retired SUNY Binghamton employee and a member of the Polish Club. Funeral services will be held Monday, 9 a.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott, and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Ambrose Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetary, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Memorial Home, Sunday 5 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Frank's memory may be to the Roberson/Kopernik Dr. Ed Project, 30 Front St., Binghamton N.Y. 13905 or the Riverwoods Nursing Home, 1 River Rd., Lewisburg, Pa. 17837
