Gerald J. Coughlin
of Binghamton
Gerald J. Coughlin, 73, of Binghamton, died Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert E. and Julia Drabo Coughlin. He is survived by Rita A. Coughlin, and their children, Eileen and David Williams, Terrence Coughlin, Mary Coughlin, Kelly and Eric Burger, Kathleen Coughlin; two grandchildren, Gabriel and Julia Burger; a sister, Bonnie Coughlin; a brother, Daniel and Dolores Coughlin, and their children, Jason, Hannah and Clare. Jerry retired from Local 112 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union and was a lifelong resident of Binghamton and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and a former employee of the IBM Corporation. Thanks to the Coughlin, Bulger and Drabo families for all their support and help through the years, especially Dr. Michael Bogdasarian.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. John the Evangelist Church, Binghamton, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday from 4-7 p.m.
