HELEN RUTH DAVIS
of VestalRuth Davis, 74, of Vestal, died peacefully on September 20, 2001, at Willow Point Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her parents William A. and Helen Grace Davis. She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Isbun, Longboat Key, Fla.; her brother, Howard Duke Davis, Vestal; two nephews, Brad Davis and Jamie A. Davis, Maine, N.Y., two nieces, Tami Fitzpatrick, Vestal and Patti Hopewell, Endicott; also grandnieces, Christina Davis and Crystal Self; and grandnephews, Jason and Kevin Davis, Louis Hopewell, Jr., who were a spark in her life that she loved. Ruth was a member of the Vestal United Methodist Church for over 65 years and retired from the Endicott Johnson Corp. with over 40 years of service. As an avid bowler, she was a member of the Binghamton-Johnson City-Endicott WBA, Endicott Women's Bowling League and the New York State Women's 600 Bowling Club. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 24 at 2 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St., Vestal. Rev. Mike Willis, Pastor of her church, will officiate. Burial will be at the Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Vestal United Methodist Church, 328 Main St., Vestal, N.Y. 13850 or to the American Heart Association, 59 Court St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
