To The Samson Family,
Having personally experienced Helen's words and her way of thinking, I know she is genuinely pleased and happy with all the comments in this memorial in her honor.
We too, will miss her sweet disposition, but also, her ability to give you "what for" if
she deemed it necessary.
We'll also miss her delicious chocolate chip cookies and her lemon pies (made from scatch of course) that we enjoyed for so many years, and also her most welcome presence when we had dinner with Patti and Billy.
I know she is enjoying very much her new home with her Lord and Savior and is busy puttering in his most beautiful gardens.
Our love and condolences go out to all her beloved family in the loss of such a special Mom, Grandma, relative, and friend.

To the Samson family,
My sincere condolences to all of you at this time of sadness. Helen was a wonderful lady. I have fond childhood church memories of her as a Sunday School teacher and a Vacation Bible School teacher as well as many other church functions. She was just one of those ladies I always associate with the church growing up. It should give you comfort to know those of us whose lives she touched and enriched long ago still remember her with much respect and affection. I am sorry for your loss.

Edith welcomed me into your family 38 years ago when I met and married Don. The impact she and Dick, and the entire Samson family, had on his life cannot be measured, but I am so grateful.. And when Annie came long, she became part of your "family" as well, loving Edith with all her heart. Thank you, Bill, for bringing your mom to Norwich for Annie's bridal shower - the pictures we have from that day are priceless treasures.
We will miss Edith, an amazing lady...
You all are in our thoughts, prayers and hearts.

Our sympathy goes out to you at this time. I feel bad we can not make it to calling hours Saturday. Your Mom was a special part of my childhood. We were at each others house so much and I remember her as our Cub Scout leader.

For the past 25+ years, I have had the honor and priviledge to be Helen's daughter-in-law. I am truly blessed to have been a part of her life. She was truly a wonderful person, and she will be greatly missed. There is another beautiful angel in heaven, and a new bright star in the sky.

To Helen's family, Our condolences to each of you. I knew Helen from church in the 50's and 60's. She and I taught Vacation Bible School together as well as the first grade class when Bill was a first grader. She was a wonderful example to me and others by preparing well for a class, finding the joy of working with each child and praying for each child and family. She truly was a lady with a kind, prayerful heart. She will be remembered.

Bill, Judy & families: my deepest sympathy to all of you in this sad time... growing up I always felt there were many "mothers" keeping an eye on me... your mom was one of them.. Helen always had the nicest, most caring smiles always... she was so involved w/our church as well as the youth of the church. A wonderful mother is now going to be watching over all of us on earth below. We will miss her.

My mother-in-law was one of very few people I know who never had an unkind word spoken against her. She lived to help others. Her example of Christian love is an inspiration for all of us.

Grandma, I will miss you so much! I'll never forget all of our times together...after my nap, licking out the cake batter bowl with the "childrens cheater", going to church with you, visiting your friends, saying hello to them as we passed their houses, sleeping in "Cellos" cage for my naps. Helping you at the Clothing Bank. I learned so much from you! I am so glad I was able to see you last week.
You will forever be in my heart!
Say hello to Grandpa, Aunt Betty Uncle Clem & Aunt Ellie for me! I'm sure they were awaiting your entrance with hugs n kisses!
Miss you, Gram!
Love you lots! Xxooxxoo
