James David Tillapaugh
of Sidney, N.Y. and
Jacksonville, N.C.
James David Tillapaugh, 40, of Jacksonville, North Carolina, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City, North Carolina, from injuries from a motorcycle accident. James was born in Sidney, New York, July 4th, 1964. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 7th, 2005, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville, North Carolina with the Rev. Jerry L. Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, North Carolina with Military Honors. Surviving are his wife, Karla Floyd Tillapaugh; and two children, Christopher Allen Tillapaugh and Sarah Elizabeth Tillapaugh, all of Jacksonville, North Carolina; his parents, Ernest R. and Ruth Bowen Tillapaugh, Bainbridge, New York; sister, Paula Tillapaugh, Statesville, North Carolina; brother, Daniel Tillapaugh, Everett, Washington; aunt, Shirley O'Keefe, Sidney, New York; uncle, Jerry Bowen, Wilmington, Delaware; uncle, George Bowen, Elizabethtown, Ky.; and uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Caffery, Bainbridge, New York.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home, 303 Chaney Ave., Jacksonville, North Carolina. Donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 300 Sherwood Road, Jacksonville, N.C. 28540. Internet condolence may be sent to [email protected] for the Tillapaugh family.
