Janet Donahue Obituary
Endwell - Janet (Jan) Donahue, 78, passed away May 13, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital after a long battle with bone cancer. She is survived by her devoted husband, Larry, and her children, son Larry (Colleen) Donahue Jr and daughter Chris (Tom) Mullins, her grandchildren, Connor and Marjie Donahue, Sean, Mickey and Jack Mullins and great granddaughter, Aria Donahue. She is also survived by her sisters Alberta (Chuck) Steigerwald, Cyndi (Gary) Marinese, and Vicky (Keith) Dixon.
Jan was a deacon at Northminster Presbyterian Church. She loved golf, bunko, Mexican train, playing cards and Myrtle Beach. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Ross One at Lourdes Hospital. A memorial service will be held at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 711 Farm to Market Road, Endwell, NY 13760 at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 18, 2018. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00AM till 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850.

We met Jan years ago through mutual friends. I had the good fortune to have her on duty when I was in Lourdes Hospital and credit her with finding a life threatening condition . Her quick action saved my life. Truly an angel among us.

Our deepest sympathies to Larry and family. I worked with Jan for several years at Lourdes, and my husband has known Larry from work. We played golf together and Jan was always an upbeat, fun person. Her memories will remain bright and and carry her light forever.

I treated Janet both times for her radiation treatment at Lourdes Hospital. I looked forward to seeing her every day as she was so hilarious and always had something to say. I loved our chats and I know she will be missed. Janet was very brave & concerned about her husband and how he was dealing with her illness.
