of Johnson CityJeanette A. Stringer, 98, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at the James G. Johnston Memorial Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, William E. Stringer. She is survived by her children and their spouses, William E. Jr. and Bonnie Stringer, Brackney, Pa., Barbara and Andrew De Los Reyes, Moses Lake, Wash.; grandchildren and their spouses, Bradford Stringer, Karen and Kevin Mullins, Laurie Slater, Beverly Nunn, Deborah and Edward Nunez, Carol and Mitch Matheson, Dawn and Frederick Lacey; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was an avid gardener, music lover and golfer, a former member of the Exchange Club, Atlantic City, N.J., a member of the Atlantic City Golf Association and the Church of the Epiphany, Ventnor City, N.J. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at the James G. Johnston Memorial Nursing Home for the devotion and care given to Jeanette during her stay. Funeral services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Pastor Dana Karen Izzo will officiate. Graveside services will be held at the Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville, N.J. on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
