Joan Scudder Obituary
Johnson City: Joan P. Scudder, 75, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, John & Mary Pidanick. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, David Scudder; a son, Mark Scudder and his wife, Rebecca O'Brien, of Owego; a brother, Matthew Pidanick and his partner, Sandra Britt; an aunt, Beverly Szelkowski; brother-in-law Hank Scudder and his wife, Joan; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Joan was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Golden Girls. She was a secretary at G.E. Westover for many years. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, where the family will receive friends from 9:15 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lourdes Hospice, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, NY 13905. Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
