John Towne Obituary
passed away peacefully Sept 24, 2012. Born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, May 22, 1954. He was a much beloved Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Great Uncle and Friend. He loved Horseshoes, Nascar, Fishing and Hunting, but most of all he loved 18 Wheeling. He was preceded in death by Father Gene Towne, Sister Joan Towne and Brother Bill Towne. He leaves behind to celebrate his life, beloved Mother Grace Towne, Two Sons John Boyd and Michael Towne, Sisters Jeannie Garber, Kim Best, Brothers Jerry and Scott (Linda) Towne, Aunt Joan and Uncle C.A Boone. Grandmother Alice Pankush. Also cherished and loved by 10 Nieces and Nephews, and 19 Great Nieces and Nephews. He also leaves many loving Friends, including Special Friend Katherine Leake. A Memorial Service for Brothers, John, and Bill (d. May 2011) will be held at Haven Hospice Chapel, US Hwy. 90 West on October 13, 2012, at 12:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to share memories of them. A reception will be held at Scott's house afterward. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Cancer Society and Haven Hospice. We were helped by both.
