Lisa's children, Jada Palmer and Jared Fiske would like to invite friends and family to a celebration of Lisa's life Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Apalachin Alliance Church. The memorial will begin at 3:00 p.m. Flowers may be sent to Apalachin Alliance Church, 293 Tobey Rd., Apalachin. Lisa's life brought her many places, meeting many different people along the way. She was loved by many, including her grandchildren, Nicholas Bartko and Logan Palmer. Please join us in a celebration of her life and memory.

Regrets

For Lisa

I never got to say good by
I was too late -
I did not know
How short our time to make amends
The angels came -
you had to go.

The life you had was filled with pain.
This heavy cross
you had to bare.
As days slipped by the silence grew.

I didn't care.

Jada and Jared,
My heart is breaking for your loss and the pain you must be feeling. Jared, you made me cry. Lisa loved both of you so much. I lost contact with Lisa when she moved to Florida. I regret not trying harder to get back in touch with her. I only saw Lisa once after she moved back to New York. She was just as beautiful as ever, only with short hair. That was before the accident that hurt back. Life can be so hard and regret can make it even harder. I know your mother would want y'all to be strong. I know that you both already have made her proud. I hope to keep in touch with "you guys." (Your mother taught me that when we were in school together, but I don't think she ever did learn to say y'all). I'd love to see more photos of her, y'all, and the grandbabies. One of our friends, Ronnie Chalker needs to know about Lisa's death. I can't find his #. If either of you are inclined to, it would be good of you to contact him. Even though I've never met either of you, I love y'all because y'all are Lisa's. She used to send me pictures. Everything changed after the accident. Please accept my sincere condolences, your Mother was a beautiful, intellegent, woman with a very strong work ethic. I worked with her at Bloomingdale's in Palm Beach and we "clicked". Even though I missed her I was happy that she was going to N.Y. to be with her children. We all hoped she would find some peace, her pain was so overwhelming. Lisa was influential in my life...curbed my southern accent, taught me to love vintage clothes and to speak up for myself. We had many fun times making memories. She will be missed.

Lisa was one of my best friendsfor years when she lived in unadilla. we helped each other out with our children Jada and my son Tim.I have thought of her often over the years and wondered how she and the kids where doing, lisa was always full of life and we had alot of fun and she was always there for me!! im so very sorry for your loss if there is anything i can do please let me know.

Mom. You were ALWAYS there for me. No matter what you would think, you were. When you couldn't physically be there, you were. I tried so hard to help you in every way possible. I'll never forget what you have done for me, and how much you've helped me become who I am today. You're not only my mother, but my best friend. We laughed together and cried together, made it through hard times together, and shared many special moments together. You were such a strong woman. ALWAYS making sure Jada and I had what we wanted or needed. You would do anything for your children. I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for me. I love you with all my heart and soul and will think about you every day for the rest of my life. I'm going to do everything I can to make you proud. I love you mom, you're so beautiful, inside and out, I'll NEVER forget you.
